Executive Summary:
After the members of the Wrecking Crew failed to clock in for their shift for over a week an engineer was sent to Level 250 to investigate. Her initial findings are presented below.
In short, the bodies of four apparently murdered A&R employees were discovered November 8, 1996. Foreman Milbert Stainberry, Drilling and Blasting crew member Jimothy McBrisket, and Production hands Krystal Trashcastle and Crowder Dinglebert were all dead, having succumbed to wounds sustained during an apparent violent attack by one of the four. In our subsequent investigation we found all manner of MSHA and HR violations, including obscene material posted on walls, improper storage of explosives, a locked personnel cage, liquor, and firearms.
We have concluded that the fallout from penalties imposed by MSAH for our gross negligence as well as lawsuits from the families of the Wrecking Crew would bankrupt A&R Mining. It has been our recommendation that A&R Mining stage a mine collapse, feign a rescue attempt, and close off Level 250 for good.
